Curated by Walid Nehmé and Shams Albadri, FIBRE is a non-profit, independent project sharing photographs, articles and creative writing exploring music cultures worldwide.

It is a passion project that blends together the work of a photographer and the work of a writer with their mutual love for music. The project addresses individual curiosities and observations and the content is further stimulated by real life experiences. The branding communicates its experimental vibe while giving priority to the interplay of photo-and-typography. Minimal on the surface and maximal at heart, the FIBRE brand is designed as a sober compliment to a loud world of sound and movement.

Involved in extensive research into the effects of music on the human psyche, FIBRE meets with artists from all walks of life to share their stories while discovering new musicians and celebrating their sounds, holding music events and photography exhibitions in various forms and locations.
